My kids independently confirmed they did not want Christmas music to play nor Christmas decorations to go up until after Thanksgiving. Indeed, they voiced their displeasure at local radio stations switching to Christmas music and lights going up on neighborhood houses before this sensible demarcation point. Alas, we are not the Holderness Family and will not be producing a Thanksgiving banger… for now (one kid does seem to feel that is a worthy mission, so we’ll see).
But we’re now well into week two of December. It’s time to consider your favorite seasonal tunes, whether it’s the “Carol of the Old Ones” or “It Feels Like Christmas” or “Christmas at Ground Zero.“
I’m sure there’s other favorites I’m forgetting, which is why Rick Beato’s “Top 20 Christmas Songs of All Time” is a fun watch. But SAFETY SPOILERS for those of you playing Whamegeddon by strict rules, you’re gonna need to skip this for now:
Oh, and don’t forget: you can always add some of legendary actor Christopher Lee’s heavy metal Christmas music into your holiday mix.
